The long-awaited summer rains arrived at the Grand Canyon several weeks ago and have been gracing the canyon with much needed moisture ever since.
Of course the added bonus for photographers is the dramatic skies that build each afternoon, providing plenty of pinprick sunlight, rain curtains, colorful cloud banks, and the occasional rainbow. The season typically last through August.
You’ll surely see another post or two should the canyon keep serving up “keepers.” Pictured here is Mohave Point, a personal favorite, during a recent memorable evening.
